Jennifer Capriati - Building, Buying and Selling in Florida
July 23, 2008
It's clear there's a lot going on in Jennifer Capriati's world these days, but her playing surface is not grass or clay -- it's real estate. Jen-Cap's longtime home in the legendary Saddlebrook Golf and Tennis Resort of Wesley Chapel, Florida is on the market with an asking price of $1,350,000. The waterfront home has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, swimming pool and spa, 3-car garage, exercise room, fireplace and over 4,300 total square feet.
As photo #2 above reveals, Capriati's tennis trophies and plaques are still proudly on display.
Jennifer had shared the home with her father, Stefano.
Capriati's major real estate deals continue. Way back in 2001, property records show Capriati purchased a piece of land, also in Saddlebrook, for $250,000. Capriati would go on to have a home built on the lot, and now the massive, just completed, 2-story home is on the market with an asking price of $2,350,000. Located at 5326 Fox Hunt Drive, the home boasts 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, library, 3-car garage, balcony, swimming pool, and 4,923 square feet.
Jennifer Capriati isn't just working the real estate market in Saddlebrook. In March of 2007, property records show Capriati paid $1,675,000 for a high rise condo at the new Seagrape Tower on Singer Island in Riviera Beach, Florida, which she now has listed for $1,825,000.
The condo offers 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private elevator, ocean view and 3,083 square feet.
Whether or not Jennifer Capriati ever returns to professional tennis, it seems the 3-time Grand Slam winner is very keen on finding a way to earn income away the court.
Property records also reveal that Jennifer's mother Denise owns a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo on Singer Island, which she purchased in August of 2002 for $180,000.
Just a few months prior to the Capriati's longtime Saddlebrook Resort home being placed on the market, Stefano purchased a modest 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo also in Saddlebrook.
